Ronner-Grubačić congratulated Croatia on the first ratification of its accession treaty with the European Union - by the Slovak parliament, and announced that Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal and the Dutch parliament's EU Committee would soon officially visit Croatia.

The two officials talked about the competition policy, and judiciary and fundamental rights. Pusić spoke of judicial reform priorities and Croatia's border arbitration with Slovenia.

Also discussed were the Dutch programmes of financial assistance to Croatia, with the ambassador announcing new twinning projects.

Pusić said she was looking forward to Rosenthal’s visits and expressed hope that the Netherlands would ratify Croatia's EU accession treaty as soon as possible.
