Minister Pusić in Brussels: we are remaining steadfast on our position

“As far as we are concerned, we are remaining steadfast on our position. The Slovenian side has said that it will continue with talks as far as content is concerned, but that a new person will be involved in the negotiation process", First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić said after a trilateral Croatia-BiH-EC meeting today in Brussels

“As far as we are concerned, we are remaining steadfast on our position. The Slovenian side has said that it will continue with talks as far as content is concerned, but that a new person will be involved in the negotiation process", First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić said after a trilateral Croatia-BiH-EC meeting today in Brussels.

Asked whether that would affect the negotiation, Pusić said that the Slovenian side claimed it would not. “It is important that whoever is involved in the negotiations is in constant communication with their own prime minister and government.”

Pusić stressed that the changes in Slovenia had nothing to do with Croatia, but were a result of internal politics in that country.

Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša has announced today that on 10 March he would meet with Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanović regarding the Ljubljanska Banka issue and that his role in the negotiations would be assumed by the state secretary in his cabinet, Tone Kajzer.
