Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović at the regular meeting of counties’ Councils for European Integrations

The MFAEI is organising today and tomorrow, 18 and 19 April 2005, the regular meeting of counties’ Councils for European Integrations at the Plitvice Hotel on the Plitvice lakes

The opening speech will be delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Heads and secretaries of the Councils will also take part at the meeting.

Also participating as lecturers will be the experts from the Ministry of Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, Central State Administrative Office for Public Administration, representatives of the European Commission’s delegation to Zagreb, experts from the National Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Hungary, and guests from the Austrian Federal State of Styria.

The two-day meeting will cover the current issues of EU enlargement and accession process, possibilities of using the EU funds, Councils’ experiences so far, the presentation of their activities, Slovenia and Hungary’s experiences in using pre-accession funds, Euro regions and other topics of local and regional interest.
