The collocutors described the relations between Croatia and Serbia as objectively better than their perception, pointing out the progress in economic, cultural and tourist cooperation, as well as in the communication between state institutions. They also emphasized the need for the two countries’ expert groups to intensify their activities in resolving the outstanding issues.

Minister Jandroković said he believed the relations between Croatia and Serbia would outgrow the rivalry phase and turn into a mutual interest partnership.

Furthermore, the minister said Croatia supports Serbia’s European perspective in a political and technical sense, as evidenced by the Croatian Government’s decision to make the Croatian version of the acquis available to Serbia and other interested countries of South Eastern Europe, which Ambassador Vukićević thanked for.
