Minister Jandroković received MFA of Morocco Taib Fassi Fihri

The collocutors concluded that the relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Kingdom of Morocco at bilateral and multilateral levels were good and amicable, without any outstanding issues. They confirmed mutual readiness to further improve and strengthen these relations.

Special consideration was given to the possibility to improve economic cooperation in the fields of shipbuilding, fisheries, tourism, and the possibility for the overall increase in trade. In the previous year, the trade between the Republic of Croatia and the Kingdom of Morocco amounted to 143 million dollars.

Minister Jandroković noted that Croatian companies, considering previous recommendations, quality and competitive prices have a great opportunity to increase their activities on the Moroccan market and to take part in the implementation of numerous concrete projects.

The Ministers exchanged opinions concerning the main foreign policy goals of the two countries and cooperation within the framework of multilateral institutions, especially the United Nations. Likewise, they discussed the Union for the Mediterranean. On this occasion, Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction that the Union for the Mediterranean was open for the countries in the Adriatic region, including Croatia.
