On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar to discuss key areas of cooperation, including security, the economy, OECD accession, and strengthening ties with the diaspora.

Reaffirming Croatia’s continued support for Israel’s right to security and self-defence within the framework of international law, Grlić Radman once again condemned Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. He called for the swift release of the remaining hostages and for continued efforts toward lasting peace in the Gaza Strip. "Our excellent bilateral relations continue through concrete initiatives, with a special focus on economic, scientific, and security cooperation. We also see potential for collaboration in the energy sector. The Adriatic Sea and Croatia have become an energy hub for the region and beyond," said Grlić Radman.

While in Jerusalem, Minister Grlić Radman also met with Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana and the head of the Israel-Croatia Interparliamentary Friendship Group, Michael Biton, to discuss the importance of parliamentary cooperation and other current topics.

As a representative of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Grlić Radman attended the formal opening of the Chapel of Croatian Saints and Blesseds in Bethlehem on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The chapel was built with the support of the ministry and the Croatian government. On this occasion, the minister stated that the chapel symbolizes Croatia’s connection to the Holy Land and the spiritual heritage of the Croatian people. He added that the chapel would also significantly contribute to Croatia’s international recognition in Israel and globally.

Grlić Radman also visited the Catholic Action Center, whose renovation was supported by the Government of the Republic of Croatia with a donation of 500,000 euros, ensuring, as he noted, a safe space for children and families affected by conflicts. "Croatia remains committed to peace, coexistence, and helping those in need," the minister emphasized.
