Minister Grlić Radman receives inaugural visit from Qatari ambassador

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Friday received incoming Qatari ambassador Asma Naji Hussain Al-Amri. The two countries’ relations were described as friendly, with potential for cooperation to be strengthened in areas of mutual interest, including energy, tourism and sports.
 
Both sides expressed concern over the situation in the Middle East, underscoring commitment to reviving the peace process that would lead to a sustainable and lasting peace. Grlić Radman applauded Qatar’s mediation efforts to free Israeli hostages and highlighted the urgency of delivering humanitarian aid to the population of Gaza.
