Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman attended the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels on 13 July 2026.

The ministers discussed Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine, security in the Black Sea region, the situation in the Middle East, cooperation between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as preparations for the forthcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Minister Grlić Radman underlined that Croatia supports further strengthening the European Union's presence in the Black Sea region, stressing that security in the Black Sea is directly linked to the security of Europe as a whole.

On the margins of the meeting, the minister participated in the EU-Gulf Security Forum and the ministerial meeting of the Palestine Donors Group, where Croatia once again expressed its support for humanitarian assistance, the reconstruction of Gaza and a solution based on the two-state principle.

Referring to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Grlić Radman welcomed the recent visit of High Representative Kaja Kallas and stressed the importance of dialogue with all legitimate political representatives of the three constituent peoples. He reiterated Croatia's commitment to a stable, functional and European Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded on the Dayton Peace Agreement and on the full equality of Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs.
