Minister Grabar-Kitarović received to inaugural visit Chilean Ambassador Emilio Ruiz-Tagle

Wishing him welcome, Minister Grabar-Kitarović expressed satisfaction with the good co-operation so far between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Chile, stating her conviction that the good and intensive bilateral co-operation will continue.

Ambassador Ruiz-Tagle expressed hope that the good bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to intensify during his mandate to Croatia, especially in certain branches of economy where there is room for the deepening of the co-operation. The meeting also reviewed the role of the Croatian community in Chile, recognised in all important segments of the Chilean society. It also accentuated Chile’s interest in the events in South Eastern Europe, especially in activities regarding Croatia’s road to full EU membership.
