Minister Grabar-Kitarović received to farewell visit New Zealand’s Ambassador MacKenzie

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 29 March 2007 to a farewell visit Julie Clare MacKenzie, New Zealand’s Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia seated in Rome, the Italian Republic

In a cordial talk, Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked Ambassador MacKenzie for the successful co-operation during her mandate and wished her success in the future. Following Ambassador MacKenzie’s interest, Minister Grabar-Kitarović informed her in short about the current state of Croatia’s EU negotiations.

Pointing out the relevant role of Croatia’s expatriate community in numerous aspects of New Zealand’s social life, Ambassador MacKenzie agreed with Minister Grabar-Kitarović that the relations between Croatia and New Zealand are friendly and with no open issues, while there is room for intensification of the economic co-operation.
