Minister Grabar-Kitarović received President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received today, 7 March 2005 in Zagreb, the delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, led by Ljupčo Jordanovski

Minister Grabar-Kitarović familiarised her guests with the dynamics of the Euro-Atlantic integration, with special emphasis on the procedures before the start of the accession negotiations, forming of the negotiations team, and the founding of the Parliamentary Alliance, that would ensure Croatia a full political consensus on her road to the EU membership.

The Macedonian guests thanked Minister Grabar-Kitarović and the Republic of Croatia on its expert help in their process of approaching the EU, and expressed their full support to Croatia’s EU aspirations.

Both sides stated their satisfaction with the very high level of bilateral co-operation. The Macedonian side also thanked Croatia for the support it offers to the Macedonian community in Croatia.
