Minister Grabar-Kitarović received Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 19 September 2007 the Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India, Anand Sharma

The meeting confirmed the traditionally good relations between Croatia and India, with no outstanding issues, and both sides expressed an interest for their further enhancement. In that regard, both sides expressed a wish for a high-level visit exchange.

Minister Grabar-Kitarović and Minister of State Sharma also exchanged opinions about the two countries’ further co-operation at the bi- and multilateral level, economic and cultural co-operation, as well as co-operation in science and technology. Croatia is interested in strengthening the economic co-operation, especially in the field of pharmaceutical industry and development projects.

On this occasion, State Secretary for Organisation, Development and Management Željko Kuprešak and Indian Ambassador to Croatia Rajiva Misra signed the Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of India on Visa Cancellation for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports, which will significantly facilitate the economic co-operation, as well as diplomatic and official contacts between the two countries.
