Minister Grabar-Kitarović received Ambassador Ramsden, who announced cancelling visa regime for Croatian citizens

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received today, 1 March 2006, UK Ambassador John Ramsden

Ambassador Ramsden informed Minister Grabar-Kitarović about the UK authorities’ decision to cancel the visa regime for the Croatian citizens travelling to the UK on tourist, family or business visit, or for the purposes of studying for up to six-month period.

Considering the UK legal procedure, Ambassador Ramsden confirmed that the cancelling of visas for the Croatian citizens will take effect 22 March 2006.

Commending the British authorities’ decision, Minister Grabar-Kitarović pointed out hat this will further stimulate the development of a very positive co-operation between the two countries.
