Minister Grabar-Kitarović and State Secretary Biščević received Canadian Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs

Minister Grabar-Kitarović and Parliamentary Secretary Obhrai pointed out the existence of good bilateral relations between Croatia and Canada, especially as regards co-operation within NATO. Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked for the support Canada is offering Croatia on its road to NATO and co-operation within the Partnership for Peace and the Membership Action Plan. Both sides agreed on the need to strengthen the economic co-operation between the two countries.

Parliamentary Secretary Obhrai was previously received by State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the two countries’ co-operation within NATO, namely the peacekeeping missions such as ISAF in Afghanistan. State Secretary and Parliamentary Secretary Obhrai expressed hope for the continuation of such co-operation and the further exchange of opinions concerning peacekeeping operations.
