Minister Grabar-Kitarović and EC Enlargement Commissioner Rehn opened exhibition “Europe 2020 – Making the Future Together/Construire l'avenir ensemble”
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and European Commission’s Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn opened on 12 February 2007 at the European Commission’s Charlemagne building the exhibition “Europe 2020 – Making the Future Together/Construire l'avenir ensemble”
The exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration under the auspices of the European Commission and in the co-operation with the Croatian Mission to the EU, will present the “Europe 2020” project – a pan-European graphic design contest. The project was launched in 2002 by MFAEI in co-operation with the Croatian Design Association, at the initiative of Croatian graphic designer Boris Ljubičić.
The exhibition features some 100 works by designers from around 30 countries. After Brussels, the exhibition will be set up during 2007, organised by MFAEI, in 12 cities in the same number of European countries, following the success of the past “Europe 2020” exhibitions. The Brussels exhibition will be open 12-28 February 2007 on two locations – the European Commission’s Charlemagne building, Rue de la Loi 170, and the INFEUROPE information centre, Schuman Square 14.
