Minister Gordan Jandroković received US Ambassador Robert Bradtke

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković received on 25 January 2008 the Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Croatia, Robert Bradtke

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of the two countries’ friendly and partnership relations, as well as the prospects of their further strengthening. Minister Jandroković thanked for the support the United States are offering Croatia, especially as regards its path towards NATO membership.

Minister Jandroković Ambassador Bradtke exchanged opinions about the current bilateral affairs issues and reviewed the development of the events in South Eastern Europe, where Croatia, as a reliable partner of the US and the international community, represents a good example and offers assistance to the countries in the region through its experience in the process of reforms, democratisation, and Euro-Atlantic integration. Discussing the major challenges of global security, the two also talked about the co-operation between Croatia and the US as members of the UN Security Council.

Ambassador Bradtke took the opportunity to hand Minister Jandroković a letter by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, congratulating him on his appointment to duty.
