Minister Gordan Jandroković received on inaugural visit Thai Ambassador to Croatia seated in Budapest, Piamsaka Milintachinda

Collocutors expressed satisfaction with good political relations between the two countries and cooperation in multilateral fora, and pointed to possibilities of further development of economic cooperation in which both sides expressed their interest. Minister Jandroković presented comparative advantages of Croatia economy with an emphasis on traffic connections and infrastructure capacities. He particularly emphasized the role of the Port of Rijeka as an entrance point for Central and SE Europe. In view of strengthening economic cooperation Ambassador Milintachinda expressed interest of the Thai side in establishing joint economic board. Both sides expressed their wish to further intensify the exchange of officials at all levels and to expand overall cooperation. Assistant Minister for cooperation with Asian countries Ivica Tomić also received Ambassador Milintachinda on his visit to Zagreb.
