Minister Gordan Jandroković received on inaugural visit Moldovan Ambassador Valeriu Bobutac

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković received 24 June 2008 on inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Croatia seated in Budapest, Valeriu Bobutac

The collocutors described the relations between the two countries as very good, as witnessed in the intensity of the highest-level visits. They also agreed that, in the spirit of such a level of political relations, there are possibilities of further strengthening the economic co-operation, namely in areas of metallurgy, chemical industry, and agriculture.

Ambassador Bobutac communicated Moldova’s interest in tourist co-operation and the Croatian road-building expertise. He also expressed the Moldovan side’s great interest in Croatia’s knowledge and experience gained in the EU accession process.

Minister Jandroković confirmed Croatia’s readiness to transfer its experience in the European integration and offer assistance in that process.

Both sides showed satisfaction with the excellent co-operation the two countries have realised in multilateral forums.
