The collocutors described the bilateral relations as very good and unburdened by outstanding issues. Minister Jandroković expressed gratitude for Ireland’s continuous support, especially during its EU presidency, when Croatia received the candidate status.

He informed Ambassador Brady about the status of Croatia’s EU talks, expressing hope that it would close all of the chapters by spring the following year and sign the accession treaty during Hungary’s presidency.

The tow also discussed cooperation and the importance of diaspora. In that regard, Minister Jandroković pointed out that Croatia was drawing up a new strategy on cooperation between the native land and expatriates.
