The collocutors expressed satisfaction with the two countries’ friendly and well-developed relations showing progress in all areas of cooperation.

They agreed that the bilateral relations could be further strengthened in numerous aspects, pointing out economic cooperation as the area with the most potential and emphasizing the possibility of enhancing the cooperation in agriculture.

Minister Jandroković thanked the Dutch side for the advisory and financial assistance during Croatia’s EU negotiation process. He reported on the activities left before the negotiations are closed, saying that Croatia remained focused on meting the EU standards and criteria. He emphasized the importance to be played in the coming period by a successful and carefully planned Croatian Government’s Communication Strategy on informing the Croatian public about the EU.
br> Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Ronner-Grubačić also talked about the current political and security situation in South Eastern Europe, especially in light of the recently-adopted UN General Assembly’s resolution sponsored by Serbia and the EU.
