Minister Gordan Jandroković received on an inaugural visit Vladimir Raspudić, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia
Despite certain outstanding issues, the collocutors described the relations between the two states as good and amicable, with numerous areas for potential cooperation
Minister Jandroković pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina had constant support of Croatia in its reform efforts, but he expressed concern over the last action taken towards Croatia, following the adoption of the Law on Protection of Domestic Production. He said that Croatia expected the foregoing Law to be withdrawn before its entry into force, as its implementation would seriously impair the credibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it could jeopardize the overall bilateral relations, and it would compel the Republic of Croatia to undertake countermeasures in order to protect its interests.
Minister Jandroković also requested from Ambassador Raspudić detailed information and a statement concerning the alleged cession of rights to build the petroleum products terminal in Port of Ploče and of the shares in JANAF, as part of the sale deal of the petroleum industry Naftna Industrija Republike Srpske.
