The meeting with the Austrian counterpart once again confirmed the excellent bilateral relations between Croatia and Austria. Minister Jandroković congratulated Minister Spindelegger on Austria’s assuming of the UN Security Council presidency and applauded the organizing of the thematic session.

He also thanked his collocutor for Austria’s continued support for Croatia in its EU accession process.

He pointed out that the recently-signed arbitration agreement with Slovenia had enabled Croatia to enter the final phase of the EU negotiations, and represents and important step forward in further strengthening of the two countries’ relations.
