Minister Jandroković familiarized his collocutor with the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiations, pointing out that they had entered their final phase

Minister Jandroković familiarized his collocutor with the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiations, pointing out that they had entered their final phase. He said that Croatia’s goal, towards which all of the necessary reforms are being carried out, was to complete the negotiations by the end of this year, a goal which Croatia will remain dedicated to. He pointed out that Croatia, by meeting the criteria in all of the most important chapters, had proven it is ready to join the EU.

Minister Mănoiu informed Minister Jandroković about Romania’s experience with the accession process and following the membership. He also talked about the organization of the bodies charged with communicating and cooperating with the EU institutions.

Minister Mănoiu said that Croatia can continue counting on Romania’s full support regarding its EU membership.

Talking about the current situation in the region of South Eastern Europe, Minister Jandroković said Croatia supports all of its countries in their Euro-Atlantic aspirations, emphasizing the principle of meriting each candidate country according to its individual achievements.
