The collocutors expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations, declaring readiness to work on additional and stronger ties between Croatia and Finland.

Minister Jandroković thanked for the support that the Finnish officials were showing Croatia during its EU negotiations process. He informed First Deputy Speaker Kääriäinen with the activities still laying ahead prior to the signing of the Treaty of Accession, expressing belief in its speedy ratification on the Finnish part when the time comes.

The two also expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments and talked about the bilateral visits realized thus far, as well as about the planned meetings between the two countries’ high officials.

Minister Jandroković and First Deputy Speaker Kääriäinen then discussed the economic cooperation between Croatia and Finland, Croatia’s participation in the training of the Afghan security forces, as well as the state of affairs in and the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the countries of South Eastern Europe.

Minister Jandroković also met with members of the Croatia-Finland Parliamentary Friendship Group.
