The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs welcomes the lifting of economic and financial sanctions against Iran, imposed in 2010 over nuclear program

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs welcomes the lifting of economic and financial sanctions against Iran, imposed in 2010 over nuclear program.

As confirmed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran has fulfilled all obligations stemming from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, signed 14 July 2015 in Vienna.

The lifting of sanctions represents a major success for international negotiations and opens new prospects for political, economic, commercial and financial cooperation with Iran.
