MFEA: Do not travel to Kiev

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs advises Croatian citizens not to travel to Kiev due to the conflicts in the Ukrainian capital

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs advises Croatian citizens not to travel to Kiev due to the conflicts in the Ukrainian capital.

In Kiev’s centre (Independence Square) as well as in other parts of town clashes are taking place between the police and protesters, which have claimed victims. Protests are ongoing in other Ukrainian cities as well. Given the complex political situation, we advise postponing visits to Kiev until the situation subsides.

In case travelling cannot be postponed, we advise taking extreme caution, checking local media and following the authorities’ instructions.
