MFAEI-OSCE Office Political Platform holds regular plenary session
Regular plenary session of the MFAEI-OSCE Zagreb Office Political Platform was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration on 21 October 2008
The meeting was led on the Croatian part by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković and saw the participation of Justice Minister Ivan Šimonović, Minister of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management Petar Čobanković, and Minister of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction Marina Matulović-Dropulić.
On behalf of the international representatives, the meeting was led by the Head of the Zagreb OSCE Office, Ambassador Jorge Fuentes, with attendance by the ambassadors of Finland, France, the US, and Greece, the representatives of the embassies of the Czech Republic and Russia, as well as the Head of the European Commission’s Delegation to Croatia and the UNHCR representative.
The meeting reviewed the issues pertaining to the OSCE Office’s mandate and assessed the progress the Croatian Government has made in fulfilling set goals.
It was concluded that the mutual communication and cooperation are excellent, and that Croatia’s progress can be considered very successful.
