The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs hosted meetings with Director-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson.

Danielsson first held brief talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić. The two officials discussed the activities ahead of the EU candidates of Southeast Europe, with special emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting chaired by State Secretary for European Affairs Andreja Metelko-Zgombić saw an exchange of views on further steps and the dynamic for 2019, notably in light of Croatia’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2020.
