Meeting on future cooperation with OECD
Chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović, the Interdepartmental Working Group for the Strengthening of Cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) held its first meeting
Chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović, the Interdepartmental Working Group for the Strengthening of Cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) held its first meeting. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, consulting with 13 state bodies that comprise the Working Group, will propose to the government the priorities and future dynamic of cooperation with the OECD committees, working groups and programmes. On behalf of the OECD General Secretariat, Head of the OECD Investment Compact for Southeast Europe Alan Paić presented the news from the OECD. The Organization bases its work on know-how and best practices, gathers 34 world’s most developed countries and establishes international standards of doing business, trade and development.
The Working Group is also to serve as a framework for the exchange of experiences regarding cooperation with the OECD and to facilitate cooperation in implementing economic and development policies.
