Meeting of national coordinators for outstanding issues between Croatia, Serbia

On October 17, 2024, a meeting of the coordinators for outstanding issues between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Serbia took place in Zagreb. The meeting was attended by Frano Matušić, State Secretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, and Damjan Jović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
 
During the meeting, a review of the activities of the existing intergovernmental mixed commissions tasked with resolving outstanding issues was conducted. Both sides agreed to enhance and accelerate their efforts through the work of commissions dedicated to specific outstanding issues, with the goal of achieving concrete results as soon as possible. Other matters concerning the bilateral relations between Croatia and Serbia were also discussed.
 
Both parties agreed that intensifying efforts to resolve outstanding issues would contribute to creating a constructive atmosphere in their bilateral relations.
 
The meeting also established a preliminary schedule for future meetings between the coordinators.
