Ireland’s first presentation of Croatian products held in Royal Dublin Society

Organised by the Croatian Embassy to Ireland, Croatian and Irish chambers of commerce and the Irish-Croatian Business Association, the first Irish presentation of Croatian products was held 1 December 2005 at the Royal Dublin Society exhibition space

Some 20 of the most eminent Croatian companies presented their rich business offer, generating great interest among the present parties, who expressed their wish for a similar manifestation to be organised soon, which would further connect the Croatian exporters and Irish importers. The presentation saw 100 or so guests, potential partners, journalists and representatives of Ireland’s political and cultural milieu.

In his speech, Croatian Ambassador to Ireland Nenad Prelog described some of the customs regarding the wine year, and informed in short the present parties with some of the joint projects by the two countries.

During the presentation, the Director for International Affairs of the Irish Chamber of Commerce, Stuart Duffin, and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce’s Vice-President for Economy, European integration and the European Union, Vesna Trnokop Tanta, signed the Agreement on Co-operation, that will stimulate the further development of the economic and trade relations between Croatia and Ireland, within the context of the two countries’ exceptionally good bilateral relations.
