Inaugural visit from UAE ambassador

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday received inaugural visit from the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador Hafsa Al Ulama.

The two officials underlined friendly relations between Croatia and the UAE, pointing out prospects for the intensification of cooperation in tourism, energy, IT, health and halal food.

Other topics included Expo 2020 in Dubai, where Croatia had its own pavilion showcasing Croatia’s geniuses like Bošković and Penkala, and displaying Rimac Nevera, the world’s fastest hypercar.  

Grlić Radman thanked Al Ulama for the UEA’s donation of medical gear during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
