Inaugural visit from Japanese Ambassador Mitsuhiro Wada

On Monday, December 2, 2024, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, received the Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, Mitsuhiro Wada, on his inaugural visit.
 
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Croatia and Japan and explored opportunities for their further strengthening, particularly in the areas of economic and trade cooperation and investment. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the increasing frequency of high-level contacts.
 
Grlić Radman also expressed gratitude for Japan's support of Croatia's accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). He announced Croatia's participation in the EXPO exhibition in Osaka next year, which will further contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations between Croatia and Japan.
