State Secretary Andreja Metelko-Zgombić received on Friday the inaugural visit from Greek Ambassador Antonia Katzourou.

The two officials underscored satisfaction with good bilateral relations between Croatia and Greece, which agree on a number of EU matters. They exchanged views on the current situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and respecting the Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Metelko-Zgombić informed Katzorou about Croatia's upcoming declaration of the Exclusive Economic Zone in the Adriatic. The state secretary and the ambassador also discussed migration and the new Pact on Migration and Asylum, emphasizing the principle of solidarity among EU member states.
