State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušić received on inaugural visit the non-residential ambassador of Georgia to Croatia seated in Budapest, Zaal Gogsadze.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with friendly relations between Croatia and Georgia, underscoring interest to advance additionally bilateral cooperation, notably in economy.
Gogsadze reflected on successful EU-Georgia cooperation within the Eastern Partnership (EaP), highlighting the importance of Croatia’s role as the Council of the EU chair in preparing the upcoming EaP summit of 18 June 2020 in Brussels. In addition, the two officials exchanged views on the topical EU and global matters, including the enlargement policy.
