Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman 25 October 2019 received on inaugural visit the Australian Ambassador to Croatia, Elizabeth Marianne Petrovic.

The two officials highlighted the very good and friendly relations between the two countries. Grlić Radman underscored the role of Croatian diaspora in Australia as an important bridge in the strengthening of bilateral relations, underlining desire to continue supporting the Croatian community through various cultural and educational projects.

Grlić Radman and Petrovic talked about the prospects of additionally boosting Croatia-Australia cooperation, notably in the area of economy. They also discussed the priorities of Croatia’s upcoming EU chairmanship.
