In Pretoria concerts of Croatian musicians Soprano Lidija Horvat Dunjko and pianist Mario Čopor were held

In Pretoria and Johannesburg, from 26-30 November 2003, a successful and media-acclaimed concerts of Croatian musicians were held. Soprano Lidija Horvat Dunjko and pianist Mario Čopor. The concerts were organised by the Croatian embassy to Pretoria, at the initiative of the Novi Zagreb Culture Centre and sponsored by the Croatian Ministry for Culture.

During their visit to the Republic of South Africa, the Croatian musicians held 3 concerts, the biggest being the one in Pretoria, held 28 November in Unisa Conference Hall, where they performed works from Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Delibes, Cechini, De Falle, Hatze, et al. A smaller, occasional concert for the business associates of the Croatian embassy was held in Lucit-Candle Garden on 2 December, and another one for the Croatian community in St. Jerome church on 30 November.

Their concerts were featured in leading South African media: the national TV station SABC, classic music radio station Classic FM, culture magazine Classic Feel, etc.
