Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign and European Affairs Minister Davor Ivo Stier today received the Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia, Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico.

The purpose of the meeting was to express gratitude to the Holy See on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of Croatia’s recognition by the Vatican. The Holy See has firmly supported Croatia on its journey towards independence and later on its journey towards Euro-Atlantic integration, giving immeasurable contribution to the accomplishment of Croatia’s strategic objectives. Stier therefore underlined that Croatia deeply appreciated the support and close friendly relations with the Holy See.
