(Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Davor Ivo Stier said on Monday Croatia had forwarded a new diplomatic note to Slovenia in which it asked Slovenia to immediately remove the illegally erected razor-wire fence from Croatian state territory along the River Čabranka.

"As soon as we heard of the of that (erected wire), on 16 November, we sent a diplomatic note to the Slovenian side, and we have not yet be given any answer from Slovenia, which is why we will raise the matter to the ministerial level," Stier told reporters in Zagreb.

On 25 November, the Croatian FM is expected to visit Slovenia.

"I do not want to prejudge the outcome of the (forthcoming) talks, we will inform the Croatian public and the government," he said.

As for a possible new influx of refugees, Stier advocated an open dialogue with Turkey.
