Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman 16 October 2019 received on inaugural visit the Georgian Ambassador to Croatia, seated in Budapest, Zaal Gogsadze.

The two officials underscored the very good bilateral relations between Croatia and Georgia, expressing desire for their additional intensification. Grlić Radman voiced support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration process and presented Croatia’s EU chairmanship priorities. The ambassador wanted to know in particular about support for the Eastern Partnership.

Grlić Radman and Gogsadze also discussed reciprocal support for membership bids in various UN bodies. Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani is interested in visiting Croatia soon, and Gogsadze relayed his invitation to Grlić Radman to pay a visit to Georgia.
