FM presents Croatian Presidency priorities to AFET, INTA

Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 21 January 2020 presented the priorities of the Croatian Presidency at the meetings of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) and International Trade Committee (INTA)

Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 21 January 2020 presented the priorities of the Croatian Presidency at the meetings of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) and International Trade Committee (INTA).

Grlić Radman presented the guidelines and focal topics of Croatia’s six-month Council of the EU presidency.

MEPs exchanged views with the minister and asked questions pertaining to their portfolio. The AFET members showed the most interest in the enlargement policy, geostrategic matters, as well as the foreign and security policy.

The INTA members wanted to know about the Green Deal, post-Brexit trade relations and Croatia chairing the WTO’s Kazakhstan conference of June 2020.
