Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić 16 March 2018 met with Irish Parliament Speaker Seán Ó Fearghaíl, who was on an official visit to Croatia.

The two officials highlighted Croatia and Ireland’s very good relations, adding there was room to improve trade. Apart from bilateral relations, the talks focused on the current topics regarding the EU and its enlargement, Brexit, and Croatia’s upcoming 2020 Council of the EU presidency.
