FM Pejčinović Burić attends address by PM Plenković at 72nd UNGA session

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 21 September 2017 attended the address by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly as well as Plenković’s bilateral talks with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Later in the day, Pejčinović Burić participated in a trilateral meeting of Croatian-Turkish-Bosnian foreign ministers and a meeting of the informal network of female foreign ministers. On the sidelines of the UNGA session, Pejčinović Burić held bilateral talks with Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel and Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Shri M. J. Akbar.

On Friday, 22 September 2017, Pejčinović Burić will attend an informal meeting of the Quadrilateral’s foreign ministers (Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Croatia) as well as a meeting of the diplomacy chiefs of the US-Adriatic Charter member countries. On the fringes of the UNGA session, Pejčinović Burić is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Colombian Foreign Minister María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar and Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
