Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 29 January 2020 at the Europe House participated in a panel as part of the ninth Eurotribina (Euroforum) on the challenges of Croatia’s EU Presidency, organized by the Croatian Radio.

In his keynote address, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković described the first month of the Croatian Presidency as intense and successful, reflecting on the current EU topics such as Brexit, MFF and Conference on the Future of Europe.

Grlić Radman talked about the progress of the Croatian Presidency, Green Deal and enlargement.

“We want to share European values with our neighbours to ensure peace, stability, long-term security and good neighbourly relations. Being a part of the European family is a logical step for the countries of the Western Balkans,” he said.

The minister went on to underscore that Croatia was no longer an observer, but a creator of European policies. “In the first month of our presidency, Croatia has already got a lot done. We have imposed ourselves with positive solutions and suggestions, and our ministers have done an excellent job at presenting Croatia to various committees in Brussels,” Grlić Radman said.
