On August 5^th we proudly mark Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian War Veterans Day. We celebrate all those who gave their contribution to liberating our homeland and pay respects to those who gave their lives for it. Let us forever cherish the memory of those who sacrificed themselves for an independent, democratic and European Croatia.

To all Croats at home and abroad I congratulate August 5^th – Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian War Veterans Day, as well as the 21^st anniversary of Operation Storm.
