“We are celebrating the Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, the Veterans Day and the 24^th anniversary of Operation Storm with pride and profound gratitude to Croatian defenders. Operation Storm liberated the largest part of then-occupied Croatian territory, for which they gave that which is most precious – their lives. The unity, perseverance and sacrifice that the Croatian people showed then should now drive us to carry on working committedly and in unison on building a strong and prosperous homeland, which is internationally recognized and respected.

To everyone at home and abroad, I congratulate the Victory, Homeland Thanksgiving and Veterans Day!”
