Exhibition of Croatian monuments on UNESCO list opened in Galician town of Lugo

Following the successful one-month happening in Santiago de Compostela, an exhibition of the Croatian monuments on the UNESCO list opened 25 November 2005 in another Galician town of Lugo, and will remain open until 20 December 2005

The exhibition in the Town Museum of Lugo was opened by Croatian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain Filip Vučak and President of the Regional Government Francisco Cacharro Pardo.

Lugo has recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Roman city walls entering the UNESCO world heritage list. The exhibition of the Croatian world heritage was opened pending the congress on the Roman city walls held in the same museum 26-30 November 2005, which will see some 150 experts, among which there are a few archaeologists from Croatia.
