Exhibition “Croatian Lighthouses” opened in Dublin’s European Union House
The exhibition is a project by Plovput Ltd., whose sponsor is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and was organized by the Croatian Embassy in Dublin, in co-operation with the European Union House
Speeches were held by Croatian Ambassador to Ireland Veselko Grubišić and Director of European Commission Representation in Ireland Martin Territt, who welcomed the first organization of an event in the European Union House by Croatia. He pointed out the significance of the point Croatia is currently at on its way to the EU. He expressed great satisfaction with the choice of the photographs and the stories the lighthouses tell. Ambassador Grubišić noted the importance of the project in promoting Croatia, stressing the need to conserve Croatia’s lighthouses.
The exhibition will be open until 4 November 2008.
