Minister Jandroković applauded the growing interest among Turkish investors for investing in Croatia

Minister Jandroković applauded the growing interest among Turkish investors for investing in Croatia. There are possibilities for further participation of Turkish entrepreneurs in Croatia’s privatization process and their investment in tourism, especially in marinas, hotels, tourist infrastructure, and shipbuilding industry, said Minister Jandroković.

The Republic of Croatia sees its economic interest in placing its products in Turkey, and well as on the markets of Caucasus and central Asia through Turkey. Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the constant increase in the number of Turkish tourists visiting Croatia, pointing out there is room for improving the cooperation in that area as well, for instance, the tour operators’ cooperation in tourist tours and visits to Dubrovnik, Mostar and Istanbul.

Croatia has invited Turkey to jointly work on transport project using corridors that would be ecologically oriented and mutually profitable. Talking about transporting Turkish products to Western Europe, Minister Jandroković discussed the capacities of the ports of Rijeka and Zadar, which could be used to that end.

Minister Jandroković also expressed hope in the soon agreement on the next meeting of the Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation, as Croatia is interested in organizing a business forum, to arrange for the further modalities in the development of Croatia-Turkey economic cooperation.
