Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Gordan Jandroković received reply by Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini regarding interference with Croatian TV program reception

In his reply, Minister Frattini said that he had been informed about the coordination meetings on the use of radio and television frequencies between the relevant Croatian and Italian bodies, as well as about the series of technical activities aimed at finding a solution to the existing issues

Frattini said Italian Economic Development Minister Paolo Romani had confirmed that the coordination issue would be prioritised.

Romani's upcoming visit to Zagreb will be used to discuss the finding of appropriate solutions to the interference with the Croatian digital TV reception in the coastal regions.

Frattini concluded the letter voicing his belief that a mutually acceptable solution would be found soon.
